The highlight for me was definitely the charming restaurant across the street that served excellent food at reasonable prices, allowing me to relax after a long day of sightseeing without the hassle of hiking uphill. The breakfast could have had more options early on, but overall, I found the experience enjoyable and satisfying.

The hotel had a great atmosphere, and my room was spacious and clean. I loved the comfy king-size bed and the modern bathroom. Although breakfast was great, it could take a while to replenish some items. The location was brilliant, just a short walk to the train station and the historic center. However, the noise from the street and nearby areas disrupted my sleep quite a bit, even with the windows closed. I also noticed the walls were thin, making it easier to hear neighbors, which affected overall privacy. A more proactive approach to addressing breakfast wait times would improve the experience. The free coffee was a wonderful bonus, and I appreciated the helpful staff, especially with the dinner recommendations. I would return, but I hope for some soundproofing improvements.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially having our three dogs with us! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the bus stop for the National Pena Palace. Huge rooms, comfy beds, and an impressive breakfast that everyone loved made for a memorable family vacation.

In my wife’s opinion, the dogs could definitely use more space to play.

The comfort of the Double or Twin Room really stood out. The beds were cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I loved the good room lighting and the nice decor—it gave off a chill vibe. Plus, having a coffee machine in the room was a nice touch! But I did notice one power outlet wasn’t working, which was a bit annoying when I needed to charge my devices.
